This site is a tribute to the big bands of the 1940's. these bands did as much for the service men of the war and their families as anything at the time! the songs have become classics. there are many bio sites on these people but not many that have sound clips. many of the songs included are rare as are the photos in the gallery. it reminds us of the good time that went with the worst time of the world!
